We’re excited to share that SoulGrown recently featured The Hope Farm in a story highlighting two special September events coming to Fairhope. Published on August 19, 2026, the article celebrates The Hope Farm as a Gulf Coast gathering place built around sustainable farming, thoughtful hospitality, and experiences that bring the community together.
The feature gives readers a closer look at The Hope Farm’s story, from its beginnings as a modest wine bar in 2020 to its growth into a 6,000-square-foot restaurant and gathering space. SoulGrown also highlights the farm’s hydroponic growing systems, pesticide-free produce, locally sourced meats and Gulf seafood, garden-to-glass cocktails, and nationally recognized wine program.
Among the September events spotlighted is The Art of Mixology: Eastern Shore Bartender’s Championship on September 10 from 6–9 p.m. The inaugural competition will bring together some of the region’s top bartenders, with guests invited to sample each cocktail, vote for the People’s Choice winner, and enjoy bites from The Hope Farm’s culinary team. SoulGrown describes it as the first event of its kind on the Eastern Shore.
The article also highlights The Wine Educational Series: Stepping into Burgundy on September 12 from 3–5 p.m. Led by Wine Director Will Jones, the tasting will explore Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Pinot Noir from four Burgundian producers while diving into soil, winemaking methods, and what gives each bottle its distinct character. Sous Chef Emily Sherrer will provide small bite pairings to complement each pour.
We’re proud to see The Hope Farm recognized not only for its food and beverage programs, but also for the intentional experiences that continue to make it a gathering place for Fairhope and the greater Gulf Coast community.
